CVE-2020-11441: 
phpMyAdmin vulnerability analysis and mitigation

CVE-2020-11441 is a disputed vulnerability discovered in phpMyAdmin version 5.0.2. The issue involves CRLF injection vulnerability where attackers could inject %0D%0Astring%0D%0A inputs into login form fields, causing CRLF sequences to be reflected on an error page (NVD, CVE).

The vulnerability allows CRLF injection through the login form fields where CRLF sequences (%0D%0A) are not properly escaped. When malicious input containing these sequences is submitted, they get reflected back on the error page. This was demonstrated by inserting %0D%0Astring%0D%0A into the username, password, and hidden target fields (GitHub Issue).

The potential impact of this vulnerability appears to be limited. While it allows for CRLF sequence injection and possible HTML entity injection, the vendor has stated that there is nothing specifically exploitable about this behavior (CVE).
