CVE-2021-22262: 
GitLab vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in the Spring Web dependency affecting multiple products including Bitbucket Data Center and Server. The vulnerability is tracked as CVE-2024-22262 with a CVSS score of 8.1 (High severity) (Atlassian Security).

The vulnerability exists in the org.springframework:spring-web dependency which could allow an attacker to perform Server-Side Request Forgery attacks. The vulnerability affects multiple versions of Bitbucket Data Center and Server, including versions 8.19.0 to 8.19.2 (LTS), 8.18.0 to 8.18.1, and earlier versions down to 8.0.1 (Atlassian Security).

Atlassian has released fixed versions to address this vulnerability. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 8.19.3 (LTS) for Data Center Only installations or 8.9.14 (LTS) for other installations.
