Overview
A SQL injection vulnerability was discovered in ming-soft MCMS v5.1. The vulnerability exists in the /ms/cms/content/list.do endpoint, where insufficient input validation allows attackers to inject malicious SQL queries (GitHub Issue).
Technical details
The vulnerability exists in /src/main/java/net/mingsoft/cms/biz/impl/ContentBizImpl.java where the contentCategoryId parameter is not properly sanitized before being used in SQL queries. The vulnerability can be triggered through the /ms/cms/content/list.do endpoint by sending specially crafted requests that include SQL injection payloads (GitHub Issue).

A successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries on the backend database, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive data, modification of database contents, or compromise of the underlying system (GitHub Issue).
