SyncTrayzor 1.1.29 contains a security vulnerability where CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework) remote debugging is enabled, allowing a local attacker to control the application (GitHub Issue). The vulnerability was disclosed on September 23, 2021 and affects version 1.1.29 of the software (NVD).

Technical details

The vulnerability exists due to the application setting a CEF RemoteDebuggingPort in the ViewerViewModel.cs file.
