Overview

Jeecg-boot v3.0 and earlier versions were discovered to contain a SQL injection vulnerability in the /sys/user/queryUserComponentData endpoint. The vulnerability was identified and reported on January 4, 2022 (GitHub Issue).

Technical details

The vulnerability exists in the code parameter of the /sys/user/queryUserComponentData interface. The affected code is located in \jeecg-boot\jeecg-boot-module-system\src\main\java\org\jeecg\modules\system\controller\SysUserController.java at line 402. The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 9.8 CRITICAL with vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H (NVD).

Impact

The SQL injection vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands on the backend database. Given the CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability can lead to complete compromise of the system's confidentiality, integrity, and availability (NVD).
