CVE-2022-34257: 
PHP vulnerability analysis and mitigation

Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.3-p2 (and earlier), 2.3.7-p3 (and earlier) and 2.4.4 (and earlier) were identified with a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The vulnerability was assigned CVE-2022-34257 and was officially recorded on June 21, 2022. This security flaw affects multiple versions of Adobe Commerce, allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields (CVE Mitre, Adobe Security).

The vulnerability is classified as a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. When successfully exploited, it allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields within the Adobe Commerce platform. The injected JavaScript code can then be executed in a victim's browser when they navigate to the page containing the compromised field (CVE Mitre).
