CVE-2022-46848: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in Themeisle Visualizer: Tables and Charts Manager for WordPress plugin versions 3.9.1 and below. The vulnerability was identified on December 11, 2022, and publicly disclosed on February 6, 2023. This security issue affects authenticated users with contributor-level privileges or higher (Patchstack Advisory).

The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 5.4 (Medium) by NIST with a vector string of CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N. Patchstack has rated it slightly higher with a CVSS score of 6.5 (Medium). The vulnerability is classified under CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation) (NVD).

The vulnerability could allow a malicious actor with contributor-level access to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when guests visit the affected site (Patchstack Advisory).
