CVE-2023-23681: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in the Labib Ahmed Image Hover Effects For WPBakery Page Builder WordPress plugin versions 4.0 and below. The vulnerability was discovered on January 12, 2023, and publicly disclosed on January 20, 2023. This security issue affects WordPress installations using the vulnerable plugin versions (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue, identified as CVE-2023-23681. It received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.5 (Medium) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. The vulnerability requires authenticated access with contributor-level privileges or higher to exploit (NVD, Patchstack).
