CVE-2023-27433: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability was discovered in YAS Global Team's Make Paths Relative WordPress plugin, affecting versions up to 1.3.0. The vulnerability was reported on March 6, 2023, by security researcher Kévin Mosbahi (Mika) and was publicly disclosed on August 14, 2023 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery) and has received varying CVSS scores from different sources. The NVD assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 8.8 (HIGH) with vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H, while Patchstack rated it at 5.4 (MEDIUM) with vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L (NVD).

The vulnerability could allow malicious actors to force higher privileged users to execute unwanted actions under their current authentication. The attack requires user interaction but does not require authentication from the attacker's side (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been fixed in version 2.0.0 of the Make Paths Relative plugin. Users are advised to update to version 2.0.0 or later to remove the vulnerability. Patchstack users have the option to enable auto-update for vulnerable plugins (Patchstack).
