CVE-2023-35092: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The vulnerability (CVE-2023-35092) is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue affecting the Abhay Yadav Breadcrumb Simple WordPress plugin versions 1.3 and below. The vulnerability was discovered by Rio Darmawan and was publicly disclosed on June 15, 2023 (Patchstack Database).

This is an authenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability that affects users with administrative privileges. The vulnerability has received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 4.8 (MEDIUM) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N according to NVD's assessment. The vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when visitors access the affected site (Patchstack Database).
