CVE-2023-37873: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

An unauthenticated Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the WooCommerce Shipping Multiple Addresses plugin versions 3.8.5 and below. The vulnerability was reported on May 29, 2023, and publicly disclosed on July 10, 2023 (Patchstack Report).

The vulnerability is tracked as CVE-2023-37873 and has received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.1 (Medium) from NIST and 7.1 (High) from Patchstack. The CVSS vector string is CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N, indicating that the vulnerability can be exploited over the network, requires low attack complexity, needs no privileges, but does require user interaction (NVD).

This Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when guests visit the affected site (Patchstack Report).
