CVE-2023-45607: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the WordPress Popular Posts plugin versions 6.3.2 and below. The vulnerability was identified on September 21, 2023, and publicly disclosed on October 9, 2023. This security issue affects the WordPress plugin developed by Hector Cabrera and requires contributor or higher privileges to exploit (Patchstack Advisory).

The vulnerability has been assigned CVE-2023-45607 and received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 5.4 (Medium) according to NVD, with a vector string of CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N. The vulnerability has been fixed in version 6.3.3 of the WordPress Popular Posts plugin. Site administrators are advised to update to version 6.3.3 or later to remediate this security issue.
