CVE-2023-45833: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the LeadSquared Suite WordPress plugin versions 0.7.4 and below. The vulnerability was identified on October 13, 2023, by security researcher Rio Darmawan from Zerobyte (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue that affects authenticated users with administrator or higher privileges. It has been assigned CVE-2023-45833 and received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 4.8 (Medium) according to NVD, with a vector string of CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N. Patchstack has assigned a slightly higher CVSS score of 5.9 (Medium) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L (NVD).

The vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when guests visit the affected site (Patchstack).

As of the latest reports, no official fix is available for this vulnerability. The issue was initially reported on January 7, 2023, and an early warning was sent to Patchstack customers on October 13, 2023 (Patchstack).
