CVE-2023-49178: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in Mr. Hdwplayer HDW Player Plugin (Video Player & Video Gallery) WordPress plugin, identified as CVE-2023-49178. The vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to version 5.0. The issue was initially reported by LEE SE HYOUNG on April 23, 2023, and was publicly disclosed on November 29, 2023 (Patchstack).
