Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the nomath() function in Mathtex v.1.05 and before allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted string in the application URL (NVD, Yulun Blog).

The vulnerability exists in the nomath() function where an overflow occurs in the sbuff buffer when processing input containing many '^' characters. The global buffer overflow can be triggered by sending specially crafted input through the application URL, leading to a denial of service condition (Yulun Blog).
