CVE-2024-10113: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The WP AdCenter – Ad Manager & Adsense Ads plugin for WordPress contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability (CVE-2024-10113) in versions up to and including 2.5.7. The vulnerability exists in the plugin's wpadcenter_ad shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes (NVD).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue, identified as CWE-79. The CVSS v3.1 base score is 5.4 (Medium) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N, indicating a network-accessible vulnerability requiring low attack complexity and user interaction, with potential impact on confidentiality and integrity (NVD).

The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages.
