The Shoutcast Icecast HTML5 Radio Player plugin for WordPress contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability (CVE-2024-8666) discovered on October 25, 2024. The vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.1.6 of the plugin. The issue exists in the plugin's 'html5radio' shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes (NVD).
