CVE-2025-11753: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The Bootstrap Multi-language Responsive Portfolio plugin for WordPress (versions up to 1.0) contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability (CVE-2025-11753). The vulnerability was discovered and disclosed on November 3, 2025, affecting WordPress installations with the Bootstrap Multi-language Responsive Portfolio plugin installed (NVD).

The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings. It has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 4.4 (Medium) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N. The vulnerability is classified as CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') (NVD).

The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These injected scripts will execute whenever a user accesses the affected page. The impact is limited to multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled (NVD).

The plugin has been temporarily closed as of October 31, 2025, pending a full security review (WordPress Plugin). Users are advised to remove the plugin until a security update is available.
