CVE-2025-20905: 
NixOS vulnerability analysis and mitigation

Out-of-bounds read and write vulnerability (CVE-2025-20905) was discovered in mPOS TUI trustlet affecting Samsung Android devices prior to SMR Feb-2025 Release 1. The vulnerability was reported on November 7, 2024, and publicly disclosed on February 4, 2025. It affects Android versions 12, 13, and 14 devices using Qualcomm chipsets (Samsung Advisory).

The vulnerability allows local privileged attackers to read and write out-of-bounds memory. It has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.7 (MEDIUM) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H. The vulnerability is classified as CWE-125 (Out-of-bounds Read) (NVD).
