CVE-2025-22314: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The vulnerability (CVE-2025-22314) is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue discovered in WP Scripts Food Store – Online Food Delivery & Pickup plugin versions through 1.5.1. The vulnerability was disclosed on January 6, 2025, and was discovered by security researcher Dimas Maulana (CVE Mitre, Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue with a CVSS score of 7.1 (Medium severity). The vulnerability stems from improper neutralization of input during web page generation, allowing for reflected XSS attacks. The CVSS vector string is CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N (Patchstack).

This vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, such as redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website which will be executed when guests visit the site.
