CVE-2025-22632: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The vulnerability (CVE-2025-22632) is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce Pricing – Product Pricing plugin versions through 1.0.9. The vulnerability was discovered and reported by Mika, and was publicly disclosed on February 11, 2025 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as an Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') issue. It has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.1 (HIGH) with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. The vulnerability is tracked under CWE-79 and requires no authentication to exploit (NVD).

This vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when guests visit the affected site (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been fixed in version 1.1.0 of the WooCommerce Pricing – Product Pricing plugin. Users are advised to update to version 1.1.0 or later immediately. Additionally, Patchstack has issued a virtual patch to mitigate this issue by blocking any attacks until users can update to a fixed version (Patchstack).
