CVE-2025-23956: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the WordPress plugin WP Easy Post Mailer versions up to 0.64. The vulnerability was identified on December 30, 2024, and publicly disclosed on February 16, 2025. The issue stems from improper neutralization of input during web page generation, allowing potential cross-site scripting attacks (Wordfence, Debian Tracker).

The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS score of 6.1 (Medium) according to initial assessments, though some sources indicate a higher CVSS score of 7.1. The security flaw is characterized as an Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation vulnerability, specifically affecting the input handling mechanisms of the WP Easy Post Mailer plugin (Patchstack).
