CVE-2025-28956: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in wphobby Backwp plugin versions through 2.0.2. The vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2025-28956, was discovered on June 23, 2025, and allows for Reflected XSS attacks. This security flaw affects the WordPress plugin Backwp and currently has no official fix available (Patchstack).
