CVE-2025-31067: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in themeton Seven Stars WordPress theme, affecting versions through 1.4.4. The vulnerability was reported on March 31, 2025, by Tran Nguyen Bao Khanh from VCI - VNPT Cyber Immunity, and was officially published on June 23, 2025. This stored XSS vulnerability allows for improper neutralization of input during web page generation (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.1 (HIGH) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. The vulnerability is classified under CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation). It requires no authentication to exploit and is considered a medium priority issue (Patchstack, NVD).

This vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website.
