CVE-2025-32514: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the WooCommerce Estimate and Quote WordPress plugin, identified as CVE-2025-32514. The vulnerability affects versions through 1.0.2.5 of the plugin and was disclosed on April 10, 2025. The issue was initially reported by security researcher João Pedro S Alcântara (Kinorth) in October 2024 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as an Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (CWE-79) issue. It received a CVSS v3.1 Base Score of 7.1 (HIGH) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. The vulnerability can be exploited without authentication, requiring user interaction for successful exploitation (NVD, Patchstack).

The vulnerability allows malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website, which will be executed when guests visit the site. The impact is considered moderately dangerous and is expected to become actively exploited (Patchstack).

No official fix is currently available for this vulnerability. Patchstack has issued a virtual patch to mitigate the issue by blocking potential attacks. Users are advised to either implement the Patchstack virtual patch or consider removing and replacing the software with an alternative solution, as the plugin appears to be abandoned (Patchstack).
