CVE-2025-32605: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the MemberPress Discord Addon WordPress plugin, tracked as CVE-2025-32605. The vulnerability affects versions through 1.1.1 of the plugin and was disclosed on April 14, 2025. The security issue was identified by researcher 0xd4rk5id3 and allows for improper neutralization of input during web page generation (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.1 (HIGH) with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. The issue is classified under CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation) and requires no authentication to exploit (NVD).

If exploited, this vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when guests visit the affected site (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been patched in version 1.1.2 of the MemberPress Discord Addon plugin. Users are advised to update to this version or later immediately. Additionally, Patchstack has issued a virtual patch to mitigate this issue by blocking attacks until users can update to the fixed version (Patchstack).
