CVE-2025-47607: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in AppJetty Show All Comments plugin through version 7.0.1. The vulnerability (CVE-2025-47607) was discovered by Nabil Irawan and was publicly disclosed on May 07, 2025. The vulnerability affects the WordPress Show All Comments plugin versions up to and including 7.0.1 (Patchstack, NVD).

The vulnerability is classified as CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation) and has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 5.9 (Medium) with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. The vulnerability requires high privileges and user interaction to exploit, with the attack vector being network-accessible (NVD, Wiz).

The vulnerability could allow an authenticated attacker to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when guests visit the affected site (Patchstack).

No official fix is currently available as the software appears to be abandoned. Users are strongly advised to remove and replace the plugin with an alternative solution. Note that deactivating the software does not remove the security threat unless a virtual patch is deployed (Patchstack).
