WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The Events Calendar WordPress plugin versions through 6.11.2.1 contains a Missing Authorization vulnerability (CVE-2025-48246). The vulnerability was discovered and reported by researcher domiee13 on May 6, 2025, and was publicly disclosed on May 19, 2025. This security issue affects The Events Calendar plugin installations and allows exploiting incorrectly configured access control security levels (Patchstack).
