CVE-2025-49054: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the WordPress Time Sheets plugin, tracked as CVE-2025-49054. The vulnerability affects versions up to and including 2.1.3 of the Time Sheets plugin, discovered and reported by Nguyen Xuan Chien on July 7, 2025, and publicly disclosed on August 13, 2025 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue, specifically an Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation. It has received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.1 (High) with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. The vulnerability is categorized under CWE-79 and requires no authentication to exploit (NVD).
