CVE-2025-49262: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the Sina Extension for Elementor WordPress plugin, identified as CVE-2025-49262. The vulnerability affects versions through 3.6.1 of the plugin and was disclosed on June 5, 2025. The issue stems from improper neutralization of input during web page generation (Patchstack).

If exploited, this vulnerability could allow a malicious actor to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when guests visit the affected site (Patchstack).
