WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

CVE-2025-49889 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability discovered in the WordPress Custom Comment plugin. The vulnerability affects versions through 2.1.6 of the Custom Comment plugin developed by imaprogrammer.
