CVE-2025-50016: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

CVE-2025-50016 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability discovered in the WordPress IP Based Login plugin affecting versions through 2.4.2. The vulnerability was disclosed on June 19, 2025, and was reported by Nguyen Ngoc Quang Bach (maysbachs). This security issue has been classified as a Stored XSS vulnerability under CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation) (Wiz, NVD).

The vulnerability has received a CVSS v3.1 Base Score of 5.9 (MEDIUM) with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L.
