CVE-2025-59569: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

CVE-2025-59569 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability discovered in the WordPress CubeWP Plugin. The vulnerability was initially reported on July 28, 2025, by researcher zaim and was officially published on September 22, 2025. This security issue affects CubeWP versions through 1.1.26, allowing for Stored XSS attacks (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as an Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (CWE-79) issue. It has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 score of 6.5 (Medium), with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. The vulnerability requires Contributor-level privileges to exploit (NVD, Patchstack).

The vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects and advertisements, as well as other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when guests visit the affected site (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been patched in version 1.1.27 of the CubeWP plugin. Users are advised to update to version 1.1.27 or later to remove the vulnerability. Patchstack users have the option to enable auto-updates for vulnerable plugins (Patchstack).
