CVE-2025-9128: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The eID Easy plugin for WordPress contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability (CVE-2025-9128) in versions up to and including 4.9.3. The vulnerability was discovered and disclosed on September 11, 2025. The issue affects the 'id' parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping (NVD, AttackerKB).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (CWE-79) issue with a CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.4 (Medium). The attack vector is network-based (AV:N), requires low attack complexity (AC:L), low privileges (PR:L), and no user interaction (UI:N). The scope is changed (S:C) with low confidentiality (C:L) and integrity (I:L) impacts, and no availability impact (A:N) (NVD).

When exploited, this vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These malicious scripts will execute whenever any user accesses the compromised page, potentially leading to unauthorized data access or manipulation of user sessions (NVD).
