See what is new with Wiz at Re:Inforce and learn about how Wiz and AWS continue to strengthen a strategic relationship to secure customers’ AWS environments.
Yesterday at re:Inforce, AWS announced the AWS built-in co-built solution with Wiz, currently in public preview and targeted for general availability (GA) at re:Invent (11/23/23). AWS Built-In solutions automatically install, configure, and integrate with native AWS Cloud Foundational Services. The Wiz co-built solution with AWS will be available on the AWS Marketplace and includes a built-in integration with Amazon GuardDuty and AWS CloudTrail to decrease risk, reduce operational overhead, and provide consistent observability in cloud environments. Our built-In solution was validated by AWS for security best practices, allowing customers to trust products on the Marketplace that have been verified by AWS.
Strategic Collaboration Agreement between Wiz and AWS
We announced a new strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) between AWS and Wiz, following surpassing $100 million on AWS Marketplace. The SCA is designed to further accelerate cloud security for mutual customers and give shared customers an easy way to tap into the transformative power of CNAPP. Coupling these two solutions has already driven massive gains across leading businesses, for example with Shell and Fox. “Today is another step forward in our collaboration with Wiz,” said Chris Grusz, Managing Director, Technology Partnerships, AWS. “Wiz and AWS offer solutions to our mutual customers that provide immediate impact to securing their cloud businesses on day one. We are excited to see how Wiz’s transformative CNAPP solution continues to evolve with AI, empowering the world’s top innovators and disruptors to embrace a new cloud security operating model, and maintain velocity at scale.”
AWS Security Lake Integration
On May 30th, AWS Security Lake was announced GA with Wiz as a GA partner. As a partner, Wiz integrates with Amazon Security Lake to improve cloud security through cloud security data sharing. This integration enables mutual customers to add Wiz Issues, along with AWS and other third-party security events and log data, to a single customer-owned cloud security data lake. Security teams can benefit from data sharing enabled by the unified lake to break down security product silos, prioritize the highest risk security issues, query security analytics, and gain visibility into their overall security posture.
FedRAMP Vendor Insight on AWS Marketplace
Wiz received FedRAMP Vendor Insights validation on the AWS Marketplace for being in-process to become FedRAMP authorized. AWS Marketplace Vendor Insights enable customers to efficiently validate that third-party software meets their business compliance needs, helping reduce the need for an extensive IT security assessment for third-party vendors. Customers with FedRAMP requirements can find the FedRAMP vendor insights tile directly on the Wiz Marketplace Listing.
Cloud Operations Competency
In addition to being a Security Competency Partner, Wiz is now an AWS Cloud Operations Competency Partner. As a validated Cloud Operations Competency Partner, Wiz has proven their ability to help customers plan, build and manage cloud environments that are secure and scalable from the start. Wiz helps customers to address potential threats, leverage best practices and meet compliance requirements, even as customers integrate with other services and 3rd party tools
