Atténuation et solutions de contournement

The primary remediation is to upgrade the WP Directory Kit plugin to version 1.5.5 or later, which introduces proper authorization and nonce verification on the affected AJAX action (WPScan, Github Advisory). As a temporary workaround prior to patching, administrators can disable the plugin or restrict site registration to prevent untrusted users from obtaining Subscriber accounts. Additionally, a Web Application Firewall (WAF) rule blocking unauthenticated or low-privileged access to the specific AJAX action can reduce exposure.
