As the Solutions Engineer Manager – Technical Alliances, you will lead a team of Partner Solutions Engineers, focusing their technical expertise and enablement on our Partner ecosystem (GSI’s, Regional and National VARs, CSP’s, Tech Alliances, etc). You will report directly to the WW VP of Solutions Engineering and Customer Success Architects We are passionate about technical sales and helping our customers achieve maximum value from our solution. We believe this all starts with a team effort working very closely with all resources available at Wiz. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Lead a global team of Partner Solutions Engineers, working directly with the alliances sales team to provide technical leadership to our strategic partners in conjunction with helping our team meet their quarterly sales targets. 
  • Provide presentations to our partners such as whiteboards, product demonstrations, slides, and proof of value outcomes. 
  • Help our partners plan in-depth test plans for showing the value of the Wiz platform in their environment (proof of value). 
  • Invest time in learning new product features, industry related developments, and broadening your overall technical skillset. 
  • Represent Wiz in technical forums such as trade shows, technical meetups, and industry events. 

 WHAT YOU BRING: 

  • Leadership experience managing a team of presales/postsales/channel Solution Engineers 
  • Strong understanding and experience working with security Partners and Alliances 
  • Recruit, retain, develop and coach a team of remote employees focused on skilled SEs. 
  • Partner with sales and product groups to drive operational excellence and efficiency. 
  • Be the single technical voice for the technical alliance and channel team. 
  • Drive team accountability to deal management in Salesforce. 
  • Ability to travel 50%+ 
  • DevOps / API Master, Cloud security experience, AWS/Azure/GCP hands on experience 
  • Network engineering experience/background 
  • Strong operating system, virtual machine and container knowledge 
  • Awareness of the CI/CD process 
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) 
  • Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates and keys

  • CSP certifications 
  • Experience with traditional CSPM tools 
  • SaaS Selling experience 
  • Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
