CVE-2018-21042: 
NixOS vulnerability analysis and mitigation

An issue was discovered on Samsung mobile devices with N(7.x), O(8.x), and P(9.0) software where Dual Messenger allows installation of an arbitrary APK with resultant privileged code execution. The vulnerability was identified in December 2018 with Samsung ID SVE-2018-13299 (Vendor Advisory).

The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 Base Score of 9.8 CRITICAL with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H. The vulnerability is classified under CWE-862 (Missing Authorization), indicating a fundamental security control issue in the authorization mechanism (NVD).
