CVE-2018-9428: 
NixOS vulnerability analysis and mitigation

In startDevice of AAudioServiceStreamBase.cpp, there is a possible out of bounds write vulnerability due to a use after free condition. This vulnerability, identified as CVE-2018-9428, affects Android 8.1 systems. The vulnerability was disclosed in the Android Security Bulletin of July 2018 (Android Bulletin).

The vulnerability is classified with dual weaknesses: Use After Free (CWE-416) and Out-of-bounds Write (CWE-787). It received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.8 (HIGH) with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H.
