MySQL vulnerability analysis and mitigation

CVE-2020-14576 is a vulnerability discovered in Oracle MySQL Server's User Defined Function (UDF) component. The vulnerability affects MySQL versions 5.7.30 and prior, and 8.0.20 and prior. It was disclosed on July 15, 2020, as part of Oracle's Critical Patch Update (Oracle CPU).

This is an easily exploitable vulnerability that allows low privileged attackers with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server.
