Technical details

The vulnerability was discovered by r00t4dm from A-TEAM of Legendsec at Qi'anxin Group (Oracle CPU). The affected versions include Oracle WebLogic Server versions 10.3.6.0.0, 12.1.3.0.0, 12.2.1.3.0, and 12.2.1.4.0.

Mitigation and workarounds

Oracle strongly recommends that customers apply Critical Patch Update security patches as soon as possible. The patches were released through the Critical Patch Update program and are provided only for product versions that are covered under the Premier Support or Extended Support phases of the Lifetime Support Policy (Oracle CPU).
