Google Chrome vulnerability analysis and mitigation

CVE-2020-6509 is a Use-after-free vulnerability discovered in Google Chrome's extensions functionality affecting versions prior to 83.0.4103.116. The vulnerability was disclosed on June 22, 2020, and affects the browser's extension system (Chrome Blog, NVD).
