Oracle WebLogic Server vulnerability analysis and mitigation

CVE-2021-2378 is a vulnerability in Oracle WebLogic Server that affects versions 10.3.6.0.0, 12.1.3.0.0, 12.2.1.3.0, 12.2.1.4.0, and 14.1.1.0.0. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers with network access via T3 or IIOP protocols to compromise Oracle WebLogic Server (Oracle CPU Jul 2021).

The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.5, indicating a high severity level. It is easily exploitable and can be accessed remotely through the T3 and IIOP network protocols (Hacker News).

A successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an unauthenticated attacker to compromise Oracle WebLogic Server, potentially leading to unauthorized access and system compromise (Oracle CPU Jul 2021).

The vulnerability is considered easily exploitable by unauthenticated attackers who have network access via T3 or IIOP protocols. No special conditions or user interaction is required for exploitation (Oracle CPU Jul 2021).
