CVE-2021-25249: 
Trend Micro Apex One Agent vulnerability analysis and mitigation

An out-of-bounds write information disclosure vulnerability (CVE-2021-25249) was identified in Trend Micro Apex One (on-prem and SaaS), OfficeScan XG SP1, and Worry-Free Business Security (10.0 SP1 and Services). The vulnerability was disclosed on January 29, 2021, and affects multiple Trend Micro security products (ZDI Advisory).

The vulnerability exists within TmCCSF.exe and results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can lead to a write past the end of an allocated buffer. The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.8 (High) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H, indicating local access requirements with low attack complexity (NVD).
