CVE-2022-1455 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability discovered in the Call Now Button WordPress plugin versions before 1.1.2. The vulnerability was discovered by 7coo and ZhongFu Su(JrXnm) of Wuhan University and was publicly disclosed on April 25, 2022 (WPScan).

The vulnerability occurs when the premium version is enabled and stems from the plugin's failure to properly escape a parameter before outputting it back in an attribute of a hidden input. Impact

When exploited, this vulnerability could allow attackers to execute malicious JavaScript code in users' browsers when they visit a specially crafted URL.
