CVE-2022-41212: 
SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP vulnerability analysis and mitigation

SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP and ABAP Platform contains a vulnerability (CVE-2022-41212) that was disclosed on November 8, 2022. The vulnerability affects multiple versions including 700, 731, 804, 740, 750, and 789. Due to insufficient input validation, the system allows an attacker with high-level privileges to use a remote enabled function to read restricted files (CVE Mitre, NVD).

The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 Base Score of 4.9 (Medium severity). The attack vector is Network-based (AV:N), with Low attack complexity (AC:L), requires High privileges (PR:H), and needs No user interaction (UI:N). The scope is Unchanged (S:U), with High impact on Confidentiality (C:H), and No impact on Integrity (I:N) and Availability (A:N) (AttackerKB).
