When platform_get_resource_byname() returns NULL, the code continues execution without proper validation, potentially leading to a null pointer dereference. If exploited, this vulnerability could cause a kernel crash due to the null pointer dereference, resulting in a denial of service condition on affected systems (Kernel Git).
