CVE-2023-23812: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the Enhanced WP Contact Form WordPress plugin versions 2.2.3 and earlier. The vulnerability, identified as CVE-2023-23812, was reported on January 10, 2023, and affects authenticated users with administrator privileges (Patchstack Database).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue (CWE-79) affecting authenticated administrators. It received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 4.8 (MEDIUM) from NIST with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N, while Patchstack assigned it a slightly higher score of 5.9 (MEDIUM) (NVD).
