Technical details

The vulnerability occurs due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of certain parameters before they are output back in the page. Impact

The vulnerability has been fixed in version 14.9 of the Yoast SEO: Local plugin. Users are advised to update to version 14.9 or later immediately to resolve the vulnerability. Additionally, Patchstack has issued a virtual patch to mitigate this issue by blocking any attacks until users can update to a fixed version (Patchstack).
