CVE-2023-34375: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

An unauthenticated Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the 10Web SEO by 10Web WordPress plugin versions 1.2.9 and below. The vulnerability was reported on June 10, 2023, by security researcher Le Ngoc Anh and was assigned CVE-2023-34375 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.1 (Medium) by NIST with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N. Patchstack has rated it slightly higher with a CVSS score of 7.1 (High). The vulnerability is classified under CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') (NVD).

This vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when guests visit the affected site (Patchstack).

As of the vulnerability disclosure, no official fix is available for this issue. However, Patchstack has issued a virtual patch to mitigate this vulnerability by blocking potential attacks until an official fix becomes available (Patchstack).
